Spring on the Farm

29 March - 14 April

Spring is one of the best times on the farm as new life appears once again. This Easter we’ll be celebrating the fresh new season with bouncy lambs, goat kids, hatchlings, spring planting and even special appearances from the Easter Bunny! So much farm park fun this Spring!

Easter Day Out - What's Included

With Spring babies galore, close-up animal encounters, oodles of play space, Easter bunnies and seasonal trails to enjoy, this Easter is the perfect time to join us for some family fun. Enjoy all of this and more in your ticket price!

Spring Babies

It wouldn't be Spring without lambs and kids! Our gorgeous flock are already bouncing around the barn, with new lambs still arriving and goat kids due any day! Watch our lambs being fed by our farm team and find out more about how we help these little ones to thrive.

The Big Hatch

Visit our hatchery in the Animal Barn to see our newly hatched chicks and get the chance to hold one in a basket during our Chirpy Chicks Encounters! We've already welcomed lots of new chicks, including rare breeds, to the farm over the Easter period in readiness for an exciting new chicken enclosure, coming very soon!

CUSTOMER NOTICE (10 Apr 2024):

We have been monitoring recent announcements about an outbreak of Cryptosporidium (known as “Crypto”) at two other farm parks in the UK. This common infection, which causes vomiting and diarrhoea, can be passed from animals to humans when there is direct contact with faeces. Lambs and calves are particularly at risk and both other farm parks have confirmed their outbreak resulted from visitor contact with infected lambs during bottle feeding encounters.

We have no cases of Crypto at Hogshaw Farm & Wildlife Park, but are keen to minimise any additional risk for our visitors at this time. We have therefore taken the proactive and precautionary measure of removing lamb bottle feeding from our daily schedule for the remainder of our Spring on the Farm event.

We are confident that our animal welfare and visitor hygiene procedures are of a high standard, having been approved as part of Buckinghamshire’s Environmental Health, under their 2024 Proactive Health and Safety Project earlier this month. However, we would like to remind all our visitors of the importance of regular hand washing after any contact with animals.
