SUPPORTING THE COMMUNITY
At Hogshaw Farm & Wildlife Park, we’re always looking for ways to build closer connections with our local community. We believe that by helping children to experience, understand and enjoy the countryside, we can inspire the next generation of nature-lovers and conservationists. Our farm is a place where curiosity is encouraged, wildlife is celebrated, and little ones can discover how important it is to care for the world around them.
FUNDRAISING
School budgets are tight, so it’s no surprise that we’re often contacted by schools and PTA groups looking for support with fundraising.
We’re delighted to help where possible and we regularly donate raffle prizes, such as family tickets or memberships. It’s a small way for us to give something back, and to strengthen our connections with the local community, so we warmly welcome applications from schools, nurseries, youth organisations and PTA groups.
GROW TOGETHER
As part of our commitment to helping children learn, we’re developing a growing programme of school-focused activities – from curriculum-linked workshops and downloadable resources, to dedicated open mornings for teachers.
Our aim is to make it easier for schools to bring learning to life, while connecting children with the beauty and importance of the countryside.
