Our fascinating daily encounters programme gives all of our visitors a taster of animal feeding time, grooming or petting. But, what if you’d love to try something more involved?
It’s not every day that you can prepare breakfast for a herd of deer, have a go at being a farm keeper, or get some one on one time with your favourite animal, which is why we also offer private encounters and hands-on experiences, led by our expert farm team.

Lamb Bottle Feeding Experience

Highland Cow Experience
MOO-VELLOUS NEWS! We are delighted to welcome our brand new Highland Cows to the farm. Want to come and meet these beautiful beasts up close? Book our Highland Cow Experience for the chance to hand feed our gorgeous girls, learn more about their species and, if they're in the moo-d, maybe even groom them too. Plus of course, plenty of opportunities for photos!
Lynx Experience
A totally memorable big cat experience, getting up-close to our Eurasian Lynx. Includes behind the scenes access, feeding the cats and hearing more from our expert keeper about these stunning animals.
Deer Experience – Sika & Reindeer
In this exciting combined deer experience, you will get the opportunity to meet and feed two species of deer - our beautiful Sika deer AND our resident reindeer, as well as learning more about these fascinating animals.
Tortoise Experience

Ferret Experience
An exclusive, interactive ferret experience, learning about our ferrets and preparing fun activities for them. Get hands-on with these curious and energetic creatures.
Junior Farm Keeper Experience
This is an exciting farm keeping experience for children aged 8-13, under the supervision of an expert farm team member. Get involved with feeding, grooming and cleaning out various farm animals and small furries, while learning how to handle and care for them.
