Great place for all ages. Me and my partner did the lynx feeding experience last week and had an amazing time. Wasn’t sure what we were expecting as it was our first time at this farm but had an amazing few hours. The staff were great, they were friendly and knowledgeable, not only about the individual animals there but their species. Me and my partner love animals and were extremely pleased with how the animals are looked after. Honestly have nothing bad to say. Will definitely be coming again soon and I’m even bring my toddler this time as it’s a very safe and friendly environment. Can’t wait to see this place grow even more. Have nothing bad to say about it. Food and shop was also great. Would be cool if the farm did a fox feeding experience, maybe a bird feeding experience, or a small animals experience like brush the bunnies or guinea pigs for small children. We got to brush the donkeys would have even paid a little for it. Best farm we have been to.
We recently had a joint birthday party for our daughters at Hogshaw Farm with the VIP experience, and it was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The staff were amazing — so friendly, organised and brilliant with the children. The VIP tour around the park and animal feeding experience was such a highlight and made the whole day feel really special. The children absolutely loved every minute of it. The party itself, the soft play and the overall setup were just the complete package. Everything ran so smoothly and it genuinely exceeded our expectations. Our daughters are in nursery and Year 1, and it suited both age groups perfectly. What we especially loved was that it didn’t feel corporate or overly business-like at all — it felt warm, personal and genuinely family-run, which made the whole experience feel even more special and relaxed. We had so many comments afterwards from parents saying how brilliant the party was, and our daughters are already asking if they can come back and do it all again next year — which probably says it all! We would wholeheartedly recommend Hogshaw Farm to anyone looking for a really memorable children’s party experience
A fantastic day for both adults and children. The Highland cow experience is one that I will never forget. Getting up close and feeding these lovely animals has been my childhood dream and to see a 9 day old calf too was truly lovely
Lovely family run farm with very enthusiastic and motivated team. Lots of opportunities to meet the animals and great to take the children to! @hogshawfarm
Day was spent really well. My son enjoyed a lot and had enough play for the day. All animals are kept neat and with enough space to roam around. Will be back again.
Lovely place had a great time at the highland cow experience loved every minute thank you Catherine
Good place with brillant play parks and the staff are lovely, could be better signs for the interaction with animal times and sign
We had a lovely day out and Harry was amazing during the ferret experience with our 9 year old daughter. He made it super educational and really fun. It made her day! Highly recommend visit, there’s something for all ages!
We had a fab day at Hogshaw Farm. We paid for private lambing session which was a great experience. I would recommend they put a sign up as a few people came in, thinking they could join the session, as they didn't realise it was private and paid for. Staff were all really knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Nice and open. It's has cafe soft play and outdoor play park with sandpit. Lots of different animals including cows goats sheep pigs rabbits guinea pigs reptiles ducks etc.
