This is a great place for young kids. Have everything you need to entertain them. Softplay, sandplay, climbing frame, outdoor splash pool, and of course farm animals and an aviary. It has moments throughout the day where you get to feed certain animals and go on tractor rides. Has a good selection of food choices, prices are a little high but worth it. Staff seem all kind, friendly and helpful. I went with a 2, 4, and 8 year old and spent the whole day there
Packed full of things to do, especially for the kids. Attending the owl demonstration was brilliant too. On site café has a wide range of good food and drinks (some looked homemade). Really well priced for what is available. Could say the place is a hidden gem. Will definitely go again.
We had a lovely day at Hogshaw Farm yesterday. We booked the Ferret Experience and were lucky enough to be the first group to meet 5! (3 new ones arrived the day before) Niamh the keeper was very knowledgeable and friendly - she really made our experience the best! We will definately visit again soon!
First class operation with amazing animal care staff. I've never been disappointed.
Great play areas for under 5s and older children. Sit and ride tractors were popular. Good food and a large cafe. Good baby changing facilities. There are a lot of goats. The lynx enclosure seemed a bit small. We got to feed the deer. It was dearer than it said on the website - £17.50.
Great day out for me and the kids. Reasonably priced, lots to see and great activities! Thank you
Great experience at Hogshaw Farm , this would be our third time coming here and 100% will be coming again as we have so much fun here. Me and my partner did the Reindeer and Sika Deer experience. Niamh who lead the experience was very knowledgeable and friendly.
The chickens are out... and officially free to roam the farm! 🐔🌿 Our flock are now free-ranging around the farm, spending their days scratching, pecking, exploring and enjoying the great outdoors! Our flock are now free-ranging around the farm during the day, spending their days scratching, pecking, exploring and enjoying the great outdoors! If you visit towards the end of the day, you might spot them gathered around the coop. They're simply following their natural instinct to head home ready to roost for the night in their safe and secure enclosure. Once everyone's home, we pop them safely into bed until morning. ❤️ See if you can spot our free-range flock on your next visit... they certainly like to keep us on our toes! #HogshawFarm #FreeRangeChickens #FarmLife #Buckinghamshire #FamilyDaysOut #MeetTheAnimals #CountrysideLife #FarmAnimals #ThingsToDoWithKids #VisitBuckinghamshire
Have you visited our Rabbit Walkthrough??🐰 Step inside and get ready to meet some of the fluffiest residents on the farm. Come and discover our beautiful new Rabbit Walkthrough, thoughtfully designed to give our rabbits a spacious new home where they can roam, explore and behave naturally. Visitors follow a designated roped pathway through the enclosure, while the rabbits are free to wander the wider space and choose whether they'd like to come over for a gentle stroke or relax in quieter areas away from the path. Watch them leap, bound and nibble in their new, larger enclosure, and if one hops over to say hello, you might just fall in love with our beautiful bunnies. 🐇✨ Who's coming to meet our adorable floofs first? #HogshawFarm #RabbitWalkthrough #BuckinghamshireDaysOut #FamilyDaysOut #AnimalEncounters
Did you know Dorset sheep are pretty special? 🐑 Developed in the southwest of England, Dorset sheep have been part of British farming heritage for generations and are known for being fantastic mums, with a calm nature and a beautiful, thick white fleece. Unlike many sheep breeds, they can naturally breed outside of the usual lambing season, meaning they can welcome little lambs at different times of the year. Like many traditional breeds, Dorset sheep have seen their numbers decline over time and are now classed as ‘At Risk’ on the Rare Breeds Survival Trust Watchlist, making their conservation more important than ever. We’re proud to care for a true piece of British farming heritage right here in our fields. Have you spotted our Dorset sheep on your visit? 👀 #DorsetSheep #BritishRareBreeds #FarmAnimals #HogshawFarm #MeetTheAnimals
