Great place with a fantastic array of animals, not just the usual farm animals but other wild animals too! Tractor rides, splash Park, outdoor play and indoor soft play all included in the price of the ticket so can't really go wrong! Only downside and only reason for not the 5 star review it deserves is that the gift shop was a bit of a let down as the choice of items was a bit poor amd prices a little too high for a gift shop but definitely won't put me off going again
Great place to visit. Amazing welcome from the 2 ladies on the counter, sets you up for your visit. Saw the new lambs, goats and 3 day old piglets. Then a walkthrough the pygmy goat enclosure. They are sooo friendly. Follow down and around the fields of alpacas, goats and sheep before heading over to the birds and cats, then back to the food kitchen for coffee and cake. Have to try the burgers next time. Through the gift shop and done. Had a lovely visit and will visit again to see the bird display
Lovely safe environment. Plenty of things to entertain children. Food great value.
Visited a couple of weeks ago and took advantage of the Motherβs Day offer which was brilliant. We love a day out as a family but in todayβs economy things are expensive and it was wonderful to feel like we were getting a bargain. We had such a great time at the farm, there was so much to do and plenty to keep the children entertained. We enjoyed watching one of the bird shows, feeding the animals, walking through the hands on goat enclosure and the bouncy pillows were a huge hit too! The go karts, sandpit/ballpit areas and colouring station were well received also. The warm sausage rolls from the cafe were delicious and we were able to enjoy them while the children happily played in the park. We spent a long time inside the reptile house and Catherine (apologies if Iβve spelt her name wrong!) was so attentive with our children. She was misting the reptiles and she took the time to explain lots about each animal, asked the children questions and was happy to answer everything. We really appreciated her patience and kindness, the children have not stopped talking about her since our visit. So, thank you Catherine for making the last bit of our day a wonderful and very memorable experience. It was so refreshing to meet someone who is clearly very passionate about their job and very happy to take the time to engage with us. Will definitely visit again.
Nice day out we had our own food so won't comment on restaurant. The staff were very nice and helpful.
We really really love the farm and bought annual memberships after our first visit. However I do have a note for improvement that really would make our visit perfect! When we visited on Saturday, our 2nd ever visit- our 1 year old was really scared and wouldnβt play in the U5βs area as there were about 10 big kids running around in there the whole time we were there, chasing each other & fighting etc. PLEASE put a βUnder 5βs onlyβ sign on the fence next to the gate, as there is no way kids are going to see the small sign high up on the wall. And this area could do with regular checks made by staff. The soft play was actually one of the biggest incentives in us getting memberships, so we will be really disappointed if our daughter consistently canβt use it.
Really nice place with lots of things to do for kids. Will definitely come back again 🙂
