We visited today 28th of Feb and what can I say our experience was amazing from start to finish! We met Catherine who was very confident and knowledgeable in her role! She went above and beyond to make sure my nephew had a great time. My nephew has autism and adhd and struggles with communication around new people! He took a shine to Catherine and she was more than happy to answer all his questions! Great experience will deffinatly be returning.

Had an absolutely fantastic day out here with the family. Especially helped by the wonderful Niamh who was so knowledgable, friendly and patient with the kids!

Great for the younger kids. Staff all lovely. Lots too do. Just need to ensure the place is maintained and kept well.

Kids really enjoyed it, Animals seem well cared for and facilities were good.

My 10-year-old daughter and I had the most wonderful time during the "Farm Keeper for the Day" experience at Hog Shaw Farm, thanks to the incredible Farmer Harry! From the moment we arrived, Harry’s warm welcome and infectious enthusiasm set the tone for a truly memorable day. Harry’s passion for farming and his vast knowledge shone through in every activity. He patiently answered all of our questions and made sure my daughter felt involved and empowered whilst she was looking after a wide range of animals with him. It was heartwarming to see how Harry tailored each task to be both educational and fun for children, sparking my daughter’s curiosity and confidence. The hands-on experiences were fantastic, but what truly set the day apart was Harry’s genuine kindness and encouragement. He took the time to explain the importance of each job on the farm and shared fascinating stories about the animals. My daughter left feeling inspired, proud of what she accomplished, and eager to tell everyone about her adventures. The atmosphere at Hog Shaw Farm is welcoming and authentic, and Farmer Harry is the heart of it all. I wholeheartedly recommend this experience to any family looking to learn, laugh, and make lasting memories together. Thank you, Farmer Harry, for giving us a day we’ll never forget, we will be back!

A great afternoon spent at Hogshaw Farm and Wildlife Park today. Great value and lots of fun for my daughter. Something there for all ages, but would definitely recommend the Owl Experience! The team were all brilliant. We will be back for sure.

Very nice place to spend time with kids even if weather is not the best. There is soft play area, you can buy food or coffee and watch kids play. Outside playground is very nice also bouncy pillows, go karts and much more. I was specially impressed with Halloween event last year. I will definitely be back for next one. I bet Christmas event is great as well.

Attended for the forst time today. Beautifully presented farm. Can really tell they care for the animals. Great amenities for children. Outdoor and indoor play area. Great variety of animals considering its just a farm. From Snakes, spiders to donkeys and pigs. Pleasant staff . Plenty of parking. Will definitely return when the weather improves aswell .
