Our fascinating daily encounters programme gives all of our visitors a taster of animal feeding time, grooming or petting.
But, what if you’d love to try something more involved?
It’s not every day that you can prepare breakfast for a pig, have a go at being a farm keeper, or get some one on one time with your favourite animal, which is why we also offer private encounters and hands-on experiences, led by our expert farm team.
Lamb Bottle Feeding Encounter
VERY POPULAR! EXTRA DATES ADDED! Come and give our hungry young lambs a milky treat as you get hands-on with their morning bottle feed! These adorable youngsters are orphans, so they rely on our keepers for regular feeds. In this exciting encounter you can get involved too, meeting these bouncy babies up-close and feeding them their elevenses. Private encounter for up to 4 people.
Reindeer Encounter
In this special reindeer encounter, you can meet one of our expert rangers at our Wildlife Hub for the chance to get up close to our resident reindeer. Learn more about these fascinating creatures in a private encounter for 2 people.
Farm Keeper Experience
This is an exciting farm experience in the company of an expert farm team member. It involves feeding, grooming and cleaning out various farm animals and small furries, while learning how to handle and care for them.
