Booking Terms and Conditions

Prices

  • We recommend pre-booking tickets online to secure the best price. Walk-up rates may be higher.
  • Children under 2 are free but require a ticket and must be accompanied by a paying/member adult.
  • Any promotional prices online are available for limited quantities and periods only.
  • The description and price of tickets you order will be shown on Hogshaw Farm Ltd website at the time you place your order.  Prices are in UK Sterling and inclusive of any applicable taxes. There are no surcharges.
  • Once you have paid, we will not increase the price of your tickets.
  • Prices displayed on the site are subject to change without notice.
  • We accept most major credit and debit cards in partnership with our payment gateway.

Admission

  • All visitors must have a valid admission ticket.
  • Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult who will be responsible for the wellbeing, supervision and behaviour of the child. This includes adhering to rules for play areas.
  • Admission tickets are only valid for use on the date and time shown, by the number/type of persons specified on the ticket.
  • Any additional visitors must be paid for in full on arrival, subject to availability.
  • Tickets must be either printed on paper with a fully legible bar code or shown on a smartphone.
  • If you have purchased a concession ticket or disabled/carer ticket, you will be required to show proof of status on entry.
  • Order of entry for each arrival slot will be on a first come first serve basis.
  • If you arrive late for any event or pre-booked session, we cannot guarantee admission and may not be able to transfer your session to another time. In these circumstances no refund will be given.
  • Please respect our site, our employees, our animals, and each other whilst on your visit.
  • Hogshaw Farm Ltd reserve the right to ask visitors to leave the site at any time, without refund, due to behaviour deemed inappropriate by management.

Memberships

  • If you are paying for your Membership by monthly Direct Debit you are committing to paying 2 months on the day of purchase and a minimum of 10 monthly consecutive payments. Payments will continue to be taken until you cancel your Direct Debit with your Bank or Building Society. The date we take your first Direct Debit will be on or around the same date you purchased the membership 1 month later.
  • The charge date (the date of which your direct debit is collected from your bank) cannot be changed once the membership has been started.
  • If any Direct Debit is returned unpaid or if any other form of payment is not honoured for whatever reason we reserve the right to terminate your membership subscription immediately.
  • A Membership is only valid when presented by the named Member as in accordance to our membership database. Misuse will result in the Membership being withdrawn.
  • Memberships are not transferable and non-refundable. They cannot be sold or given away to a third party.
  • The authorised Member must show their Membership via their online Digiticket account or proof of membership at the Entrance each time they visit Hogshaw Farm & Wildlife Park.
  • Failure to have a valid Membership will result in a charge of the ‘walk up’ admission rate.
  • Events and opening are subject to change without notice and no refunds are given should Hogshaw Farm & Wildlife Park close due to circumstances beyond its control.
  • All Memberships remain the property of Hogshaw Farm & Wildlife Park and can be withdrawn in the event of fraud and misuse. This includes, but is not limited to, allowing a third party to attempt to gain access to Hogshaw Farm & Wildlife Park with a Membership of which they are not the valid holder.
  • Membership cannot be used in conjunction with any promotional offer or voucher. Unless it is a membership specific promotional offer of voucher. And any booking fees, benefits and discounts listed on our website are subject to change at any time.
  • Extra charges may apply for some seasonal special events. These include our Halloween Event and Christmas on the Farm however this list is not exhaustive.
  • If Direct Debit agreements are cancelled prior to the 12-month agreed period, this facility will be withdrawn for any future use to this customer and Memberships will need to be purchased outright.
  • Seniors are classed as 60 or over and all disabled memberships are entitled to bring a carer for free but must provide a DLA or PIP as proof for membership.
  • Membership packages and the associated prices are subject to annual review and may change without us having to give any prior notice.
  • A carer under the Disabled Plus Carer Membership must be ages 16 or older.
  • Hogshaw Farm & Wildlife Park will inform you of any changes to your current membership plan in advance to your membership by email or on this page.
  • Hogshaw Farm & Wildlife Park reserves the right to change terms and conditions as and when required.
  • These terms and conditions work in conjunction and in accordance with Hogshaw Farm & Wildlife Parks general terms and conditions.

Vouchers, Experiences & Attractions

  • Should you wish to use a pre-purchased Gift or Promotional Voucher, please first try to redeem online. If unsuccessful, email info@hogshawfarm.co.uk at least 48hrs in advance of your preferred visit date.
  • We will endeavour to keep all attractions and experiences open as advertised however occasionally, some activities may be unable to take place due to animal welfare, safety, weather, or technical reasons.

Changes & Cancellations

  • Farm admission tickets and event specific tickets are non-refundable.
  • It is the responsibility of the ticket holder to check the ticket before arrival. It may not be possible to rectify errors on the day of the visit.
  • Guests may purchase the optional Flexi Booking Add-On to their order. This will allow guests who have purchased this add on to change their booking as many times as required up to the point of the ticket redemption. Changes must be made at least 24 hours before the original booked date. Changes can be made online by creating an account and logging in or by emailing info@hogshawfarm.co.uk. No refunds will be due if the new date is available at a lower sale price.
  • Flexi Booking Add-On must be added at the time of original booking. It cannot be added at a later date.
  • Tickets may not be resold or transferred.

BIRTHDAY PARTIES

  • Parents of the birthday child receive free entry and a free hot drink.
  • Each party guest can bring ONE supervising adult to accompany them for free.
  • Party Guests, Dietary Requirements and Extra Visitors must be submitted online no later than 14 DAYS BEFORE the party. (Link in booking confirmation email). Anyone who is not included on the guest list will not be admitted to the party.
  • Extra visitors are not covered by the party package, are excluded from VIP Encounters and are not catered for.
  • Any items left unattended in the party area are left at your own risk and Hogshaw Farm & Wildlife Park will not be held liable.
  • It is your responsibility to supervise any children waiting to be collected at the end of the party.
  • Payment is required at the time of booking your party online. This will be for a minimum of 10 guests, up to a maximum of 28. You can also include extra visitors and optional food & drink extras at the time of booking.
  • If there is any increase from your original booking numbers to your final guest list, you will pay the balance when you check-in on the day of the party.
  • Party bookings are non-refundable and cannot be cancelled.
  • If you need to reschedule your party, you can do so up to 14 days prior to the original party date. An admin fee of £50 will be payable for this.
  • It is the responsibility of the party host to check the booking details before arrival. It may not be possible to rectify errors on the day of the visit.

EDUCATIONAL GROUPS/SCHOOL VISITS 

  • Minimum of 10 & maximum of 60 children per visit.
  • For educational groups, one adult is free for every four paying children.
  • For Special Educational Needs (SEN) groups, the adult to child ratio must be 1:1 and all of these adults will be admitted free of charge.
  • A minimum deposit will be payable at the time of booking to secure your chosen date. This is £75 for self-led groups and £90 for self-led + lesson groups.
  • You will be prompted by email to complete an online form confirming your final numbers no later than 21 days prior to your visit.
  • A final balance will then be issued and this invoice must be paid no later than 14 days before your visit.
  • If the invoice is not paid on time, the booking may be forfeited and no refund will be possible.
  • Cancellations with less than 28 days notice are non-refundable, but for an administration fee of £50 your visit can be rescheduled to another available date.
  • School visit booking cancellations with less than 14 days notice are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Closure

  • Should the Farm be forced to close or cancel any event due to Covid-19 or any other reasons out of our control, all pre-booked customers will be contacted and tickets transferred to another date or refunded.
